Strolling through Downtown Flint, Michigan today, down one of the several "alleys" that are named like streets, I saw in a window of what must have once been a bank branch a poster for the long-gone (taken over by a bigger bank) National Bank of Detroit or NBD.

The poster is still there, signifying nothing now but the passage of what passes for time in These Postmodern Days. More and more it seems like it is so easy to step through tears in the time/space continuum and end up somewhere other than where you thought you were...I don't think we are in 2006 anymore, Toto!

And then in a blink of your eyes you are back in "2006" again...or are you????
