politics sports popular culture and assorted postmodernist gibberish

The Detroit Shock lost last night at Phoenix to fall to four wins and four losses on the 2006 season. The 2004 and 2005 seasons saw them finish right at and just under the break even mark in the regular season, and eliminated in the first playoff round both times.

Once again, as I did last season, I am afraid I will have to get the "Fire Bill Laimbeer" bandwagon rolling. There is just too much player talent in Auburn Hills for the Shock to be struggling so badly for two plus seasons now.
