The Crisis of Late Corporate Capitalism continues with job losses of perhaps more than 60,000 in the United States auto industry. General Motors is closing a plant in Lansing, Michigan...it seems like it was just yesterday that the Lansing State Journal (another typical corporate puppet newspaper) was running stories about the wonders of General Motors in Lansing, complete with the words "Lansing" and "Michigan" run together in all capital letters and the GM logo in the middle as the ending "G" in "Lansing" and the beginning "M" in Michigan. Somehow it made me sick back then and it makes me sick now, perhaps because I had a sneaky feeling that GM might end up doing the usual cowardly, greedy corporate thing and abandoning a community that it made a commitment to.

I have said it before and will say it again...the people who run these corporations are nothing more than Common Criminals and they should be put on trial for Crimes Against The Public. And they would be if we had governmental leaders of real integrity like Ralph Nader instead of corporate marionettes like George Bush.
